The Delaware Valley Wind Symphony is an all-volunteer adult band dedicated to the preservation and advancement of concert band music within the community through the highest level of musical performance.  We perform a wide range of musical styles ranging from traditional concert band music and concert band adaptations of orchestral music to modern and pop arrangements.

We are led by wonderfully experienced conductors. Steve Sweetsir is our Music Director. Colleen Sweetsir and Sam D’Aversa are our Associate Conductors. Their biographies can be found by clicking here.

The band has over 50 members, ranging from professional musicians and music educators to advanced amateurs, all with significant playing experience. Realizing the need to nurture the next generation of musicians, we also invite a few talented students from the area schools to have the experience of working with the band.

We rehearse weekly throughout the school year and give several public performances a year.
